This blog was originally going to document my training adventures with Fire & Tyke. I had planned to sell Fire, then this would turn over to simply being Tyke's training blog. Well, things changed and now it will be Fire's training blog. First though, I will be going back in time and posting the story of Tyke from when I first got him through the end. I will date those posts in their titles, and I will keep any graphic pictures down at the bottom with a warning to not scroll down if you're not interested. I kept a journal from day one of getting Tyke, and I will simply be transferring that info plus pictures into this blog.
Once I have gotten caught up, this will be a blog following the continuation of my training of Fire. I will be starting him back at the beginning following the plan that Warwick Schiller outlines. I hope to see a lot of improvement this summer even though I can't spend a lot of time with him (I have a son who is under a year old plus a full time job...I stay busy...) It won't be easy to always find time to update this blog, but I think that seeing the progress I make as I work with Fire will be a big motivator for me.
